Come and stay in our lovely holiday cottage set in Ingleton, Yorkshire Dales. It’s ideal for couples and well situated for walking, cycling and exploring the Dales and Lake District, or simply a romantic get away. Set in a very peaceful riverside location, with private parking and garden, it’s only a few minutes walk from the village center and the famous Ingleton Watefalls Trail.

Cancellation Policy

Payment is required in full to confirm the booking. In the unfortunate event of a cancellation, we would try to accommodate a change in date where possible.
Partial refunds will be considered for bookings made more than 8 weeks in advance.


5 Garden Holme, Ingleton LA6 3ES (Doe Foot cottage is next door)

If using a sat nav, it will say Holme Head Farm Road however, it is now Garden Holme. If you are coming from the village you follow signs for the waterfalls trail car park. After you drop down steeply, cross the first bridge and turn left before the next bridge. If you go past the waterfalls car park you have gone too far.

If you are turning in to Ingleton opposite Country Harvest on the A65, follow the country lane past the campsite round to the right and then down under the viaduct. Go past the waterfalls trail car park on your left and take the first right after the first bridge. The entrance is quite tight, follow the drive right to the bottom, past the garages on your left and turn right in front of the house to the parking space in front of Doe Foot Cottage which is next door to the owners house no 5.


Doe Foot cottage is an amazingly secluded cottage yet in the centre of this lovely village. It is owned by a charming couple who cannot do enough to help. A return visit is a must.

The cottage was neat, clean and very well organised. Sally and David had prepared for us very well, even to providing a bottle of Christmas cheer and a box of chocolates! A lovely couple and a lovely cottage! Highly recommended. The area is beautiful and once settled in we didn’t need to drive again because we could set out on beautiful walks straight from the front door. Thank you for a lovely, quiet, Christmas break! I hope we will be able to stay there again.

The cottage was very well kitted out, with some lovely personal touches like local bread and cakes to welcome us. The property is attached to the owners home and although our host was very friendly when we arrived, she then left us to it for our stay, which we greatly appreciated…it felt very private. We would definitely go again and recommend it.
