Great pub food & good selection of ales, gins etc
They sometimes have live music. Also good for Sunday lunch. 15 mins walk from the house opposite direction the village, it is in a lovely location too opposite an old village church. Nice beer Garden. Booking advised.
The Old Post Office
Open Thurs-Sun evenings from 5.30pm
5 mins walk, in the village – Great Micro bar with fantastic range of gin, whiskey and wine with a lovely atmosphere. Its tiny so you need to book.
For breakfast – Bernies café – An Ingleton institution.
Cavers/climbers café which does fantastic value food and good quality full English with doorstop toast. Have live music on certain nights, see inside for details.
Goat Gap Café
Between Ingleton and Clapham on the A65
Great for lunch serving delicious flatbreads and an array of salads amongst other things.
The Game Cock Inn
A short drive away is the village of Austwick, cute dales village with fanatstic pub. Booking is a must as its very popular and has nice easy walks from there and good mountain biking routes (ask David if you need ideas)
The Masons Arms
On the A65, that has nice food / Sunday lunch. Wednesday is Pie night… booking is recommended as they get busy.
