5 mins walk, in the village – Great Micro bar with fantastic range of gin, whiskey and wine with a lovely atmosphere. Its tiny so you need to book.

A short drive away is the village of Austwick, cute dales village with fanatstic pub. Booking is a must as its very popular and has nice easy walks from there and good mountain biking routes (ask David if you need ideas)
