Welcome to Doe Foot Cottage, we hope you have a wonderful holiday in Ingleton. 

Here are a few things you need to know about the cottage.

Towels and bed linen

100% cotton bed linen and towels are provided. The duvet and pillows are synthetic and hypo allergenic.

Cleaning materials

A brush & vacuum cleaner is kept in the bathroom cupboard. All dish cloths are freshly laundered and there are disposable cloths under the sink with a selection of cleaning materials. There is a dustpan and brush & bin liners under the sink.

Covid 19 precautions

In line with the latest government advice we have enhanced our cleaning regime. All hard surfaces have been thoroughly disinfected before your arrival including taps, switches, door handles, bins, window catches, kitchen work surfaces, inside of wardrobe etc. Soft furnishings are sprayed with Dettol disinfectant. Cleaning staff wear appropriate face coverings, gloves and aprons to perform cleaning duties and making up the bed.

Sanitising hand gel is provided as well as anti bacterial cleaning materials.

Heating

In cooler weather the heating is set on a timer to come on in the morning and again later in the afternoon/eve. If you wish to override the timer and either turn it on or off please find the controls inside the bathroom cupboard in a wooden box which you can pull down to open. Please do not change the timer, simply press ‘Advance’ and the timer will kick in again as programmed. Radiators have individual thermostats. The water should always be hot.

Bins

Please place bagged kitchen waste in the green wheelie bin near the garden shed. This is emptied by us after your departure. Recycling (glass, paper, cardboard, aluminium cans, plastic) all goes in the black bin.

Departure – by 10am please

There are 2 large cream linen bags hanging on the bathroom door. Please strip the bed and place all bed linen in one bag and all the towels in another and leave them in the bathroom.

Please ensure all bagged rubbish has been removed from the property and placed in the outside bins.
